On October 12-13, 2024, the center successfully carried out the opening report and mid-term proposal defense for the 2023 and 2022 graduate students. Nine teachers from the School of Physics and Electronics and the School of Future Technology participated in the meeting as a mentor group and evaluation experts.
The meeting strictly followed the procedures for the mid-term defense and the master's thesis proposal. Each student reported on the research background, research content, preliminary results, and next experimental plan of the project. After the report, the experts carefully reviewed the proposal report and provided comments and guidance on the innovation of research topic, the feasibility of research plan, and report writing, and put forward specific revision suggestions.
The meeting ended successfully lasted for two afternoons. This conference not only showcases the preliminary work of the students, but also helps them to better carry out the next research work.
