The "2019 Henan University nano carbon materials Summit Forum" hosted by our center was attended by more than 20 experts in the field of nano carbon materials, and nearly 300 teachers and students listened the reports.
Liu Xiansheng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and vice president of Henan University, and Academician Liu Zhongfan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. This Summit Forum was presided by Lu Yang, President of the Institute of science and technology of Henan University.
The experts attending the meeting made research reports on the topics of synthesis and characterization of nano carbon materials, photonics and optoelectronics of nano carbon materials, applications of nano carbon materials in new energy, flexible electronics and biomedicine, theoretical calculation and Simulation of nano carbon materials.
Academician Liu Zhongfan made a report entitled "the industrialization road of graphene new materials", which comprehensively and deeply expounded the exploration journey of the graphene team of Peking University and the challenges faced by China's graphene industry at present.
Academician Cheng Huiming of Institute of metals, Chinese Academy of Sciences introduced the research status, synthesis methods and application prospects of carbon nanotube, graphene and other carbon materials in detail with the title of "current situation and Prospect of advanced carbon materials".
All distinguished Young Scholars and professors have given wonderful academic reports. This Summit Forum provided a platform for academic exchanges for experts and scholars active in the field of nano carbon materials, which has built a bridge for the cooperation between our center and relevant universities. It is of great significance to promote the in-depth and substantive cross disciplinary cooperation on carbon materials between our center and other universities, and to stimulate the construction of the research platform for nano carbon materials and devices of our center. Most importantly, it also injected new vitality into the construction of first-class disciplines in our university.
